Birthday Parties

Clowns from Clown Connection LLP are very flexible and can structure a birthday party however you'd like.

However, here is a suggested format: One clown comes for an hour. We begin with a 30-minute clown comedy show. To fill out the hour, we add animal balloons OR face painting OR games, depending on how many children you will have at the party.

We recommend that the clown comes 15-30 minutes after the party starts, because some of the birthday guests may be late.

Call 378-9474 and the booking agent will work with you to put together a package that best fits your situation. We can come for just 30 minutes, or for a longer time, depending on your needs.

"PLEEZ - I need to go to a party!"

Helpful hint: Have all the party guests sit in a circle with the gift they brought. One at a time, have the children give their presents to the birthday boy/girl, working your way around the circle. Put all the wrapping paper in a trash bag as the gift is opened, then have the present and card passed around the circle for each child to see. Then, of course, thank-you's for the gift are expressed. No mess! No chaos!

Company Parties

Clowns can organize games with the children - including water balloon baseball, parachute and relay games. We can also offer face painting or animal balloons.

In deciding how many clowns to book and how long to book them, we recommend that you consider the following:

Plan three minutes per child for animal balloons and five minutes per child for face painting.
If your budget or schedule does not allow for the majority of the kids to get a balloon or get their face painted, then don't schedule those activities. Instead, schedule the clowns for games, which do not require a time-per-child calculation. With games, all the kids participate at the same time.
Since clowns are not Superman (!), we require one clown per 25 children when doing games. Exceptions are made when there are other activities going on, or if helpers for the clown will be provided.

HELPFUL HINT: When planning your company party, distinguish age groups (e.g., babies, 2-year-olds, 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-17 years, and adults). This will help you in your planning and help the clowns in their planning too!
